NEW LISTING
A NEW listing located in Victoria BC Canada, that will not last long. This Grand Banks 32 (GB 32) is in the sweet spot for cruising the Pacific Northwest & Gulf Islands. She is a Semi-displacement single-screw trawler and is one of the most-loved coastal trawlers ever built. SUMU loves to cruise at 7-8 kn which makes her very efficient to run. Proven across decades, you have a range of 300+ nm.
SUMU is a well-cared-for GB32 with many thoughtful upgrades. The Ford Lehman engine has been thoroughly serviced and runs smoothly. The fuel tanks have been upgraded, along with a new heating system and an upgrade to the electrical setup. The exterior hull is in beautiful condition, and the bottom was just cleaned and painted in July 2026. A new custom aft-deck canvas S/S top adds comfort to this space for outdoor lounging and dining.

GENERAL LAYOUT
The profile of the Grand Banks 32 is very recognizable. She is an obvious trawler vessel but the design
is special. The very wide side decks and the use of teak sure stand out. The raised bow and the custom higher safety rails provide a secure space to walk around. Large windows surround the vessel giving you a fantastic view while inside. The custom addition of the cockpit top just gives you another option on where to sit. Then the upper deck & helm stand out as another great part of the design.
Enter the main cabin through the cockpit teak door. As you enter you notice right away the use of teak wood is everywhere, giving you a warm and inviting feel. The salon floor is a warm parquet teak and very long lasting. The fold-out dining table is a center piece next to the settee. The upholstery is in beautiful condition and comes with custom made covers to help protect this. The whole indoor space is bright and open because of the large windows that are part of the Grand Banks design. The updated open galley is just forward of the salon and to port. This is fully equipped and has everything you need while away from shore. New stove, NORCOLD Fridge/Freezer, large S/S sink and upper & Lower teak cabinets for
storing food and galley things
Just to starboard of the galley is the wheelhouse. A great set up to either sit or stand. All controls easily
accessed to make handing a breeze.
Forward and a few steps down is the master stateroom. V-berth bed with over 6ft length. The single head is nicely placed nearby
The Upper helm is accessed with a teak ladder from the cockpit. This space is open and is designed with multiple places to sit and relax while on your journey. The upper helm has everything needed to take control of the vessel, giving you two options for taking the boat out. Plenty of space for you as owners or take out your friends and really enjoy the time on the ocean.
