37' 1986 Prout Snowgoose

"GOOD COMPANY"

37 ft Snowgoose

Freedom to take this boat anywhere off-grid. Seriously, live 100% off-grid! That is at the core of this 37' Prout Snowgoose. Extremely safe with more modifications and upgrades than any other Prout that further defines her seaworthiness. Spacious, ample storage, solar (no generator needed), A/C, new running and standing rigging (2017), new Webasto top load freezer (2019), new Webasto marine fridge (2019), new Jabsco head (2018), ion lightning dissipator (2017), EPIRB, all service records included, and much more. Bluewater ready with closed-cell foam added to the entire hull insulating her from cold water adventures and the heat from above. The current owner (certified marine electrician, captain, marine surveyor, professional rigger, and professional marine solar distributor) purchased Good Company in England, refit her, and sailed across the Atlantic to the Americas where they continued their adventures before settling in FL with family. They currently liveaboard, still powering their everyday with solar.

For those of us drawn to the water with a deep desire to experience the breadth of the wide-open ocean, Good Company is rigged and ready to be you and your family's companion on all the adventures you can imagine.

Disclosure

While this 1986 Prout 37' resided in England before the current owners purchased her in 2007 for the refit, the boat on her port side in the marina caught fire and burned the skin of the deck on the port side.  The damage was free of punctures or water intrusion.  During the refit, the deck received ample fiberglass to patch and strengthen the skin.  It was then repainted with nonskid.

In 2017, the electrical system received an indirect lighting hit.  None of the electronics were effected, only some of the wiring.  The boat was rewired by a certified ABYC marine electrician.  The owners then added the ion dissipator to the mast and have been free of any issues since.
