Located in Mystic Connecticut. Tuglet has been totally restored. There is no comparison to other Mini tugs. Therefore age is no indication of her condition, which is pristine. Simply: She's unique. Fun to pilot, and perfect for canal, a calm sea, or river cruising.
Overview
Situated in Mystic on her trailer, Tuglet is a fiberglass mini replica of a classic tugboat. Originally custom built Tuglet has been totally rebuilt in two main stages. Firstly in 2013 and secondly to completion in 2024. The level of structural refurbishing is so perfect, so unique that Tuglet presents herself as a boat in 'as new condition'.

Tuglet has been thoroughly rebuilt (hull, deck, cockpit, wheelhouse) in fiberglass and resin with marine plywood core by Nick Sahin fiberglass in Mystic Connecticut (in 2019 and 2024). Very little of the original boat remains. See Timeline description and photos.
