40' 1996 Sea Ray 400 Express Cruiser

The signature attribute of Sea Ray cruisers over the past 20 years has been bold, and timeless styling. That was certainly on display in 1996 with the Sea Ray 400 Express Cruiser an executive-class sport yacht with as much sex appeal as any of the European imports. Built on a fully cored hull with a wide beam, the 400's two-stateroom floor plan provides luxurious accommodations for 4-6. The forward stateroom has a full-size pedestal bed with a shared head access, and a pocket door closes off the starboard bunk room. The galley is huge with generous counter space and plenty of storage. The clean cabinets and faux granite countertops with custom decorator fabrics highlight the interior. Topside, the 400 Express Cruiser provides a large cockpit area as well as walkways to the foredeck. This 400 EC has had new laminate flooring, new cockpit vinyl, new seadek, new interior seating, after coolers and heat exchangers just serviced, hoses replaced, fully detailed and updated electronics rounds out the list of almost 25k in recent updates. The 340hp Caterpillar 3116 is a proven engine with only 2400 hours on the diesels which cruise at 21 knots and WOT of 2750 achieving 26 knots.
