1999 Ocean Yachts 60 Convertible

A fast ride for such a big boat, the Ocean 60 is an angular, Jersey-style convertible whose rakish styling and lavish accommodations will appeal to boaters who place a premium on luxury and performance. Like all Ocean designs, the 60 rides on an efficient modified-V hull, tapered at the stern with a deep forefoot and plenty of flare at the bow. A pair of floorplans, one with three staterooms and the other with four, were offered in the 60?both sharing the same main deck layout with the dinette and galley a step up from the salon. The lower-level layouts are notable in that both locate the full-width master stateroom aft, beneath the forward part of the salon. A laundry center was standard, and the VIP guest suite in the three-stateroom floorplan is huge. The spacious cockpit of the Ocean 60 came with all of the amenities one expects in a yacht of this type (including direct access to the engine room), and the large flybridge is designed with wraparound lounge seating, refrigerator, and hardtop.
