Introduced in 2012 as Cobia's flagship model, the 296 Center Console is a competitively priced fishing platform whose level deck layout provides secure footing from bow to stern. This 2016 Cobia 296 cc is super clean, fully rigged, has a trailer, trolling motor and full suite of Simrad electronics. Recessed bow rails extend back to the helm area, and the Cobia's high freeboard results in an unusually deep and secure cockpit for a boat this size. Also notable is the roomy step-down head compartment (with forward entry) of the 296 where an electric head, two opening ports, sink, and hand-held shower are standard. Split forward seats are a plus they make it easy to get around in the bow area.
